How to get through the droid factory and complete the level’s challenges
In Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, one of the Episode II levels is “Droid Factory Frenzy,” a level that has you switching between characters to get out of the titular factory. Our Droid Factory Frenzy guide walks through how to complete this level so you don’t end up stuck or lost.
Once you get into the droid factory, you’ll be playing as Anakin and Padmé, with C-3PO and R2-D2 on another part of the map. At any part during this segment, you can swap between the two — and you’ll need to do that to solve the puzzles.
After taking out the enemies with Padmé’s gun, you’ll swap places with the robots. Use C-3PO to destroy the nearby glowing structure and rebuild it into a bridge to get to the quest marker.
Once you get across, destroy the glowing object (again) and rebuild it into a console for R2-D2. Activate the console and swap back to Anakin. Use The Force to wiggle the un-activated battery out of place and make it touch the activated battery. Place it back in its original location.
Head down the newly-opened chute to land on a conveyor belt. Follow the quest marker through. Once you hit the end of the conveyor belt, swap back to the robots. Follow the quest marker down the open chute onto the assembly line. Jump across the gap to the right assembly line by using one of the barrels full of droid parts.
Defeat the enemies there and follow the quest marker to hop across the gap again with the droid-filled barrels. Destroy the orange glowing parts on the wall to open up a new area.
Again, destroy the glowing structure and rebuild it into a console for C-3PO. Use the console to break the wall. Once the cart has moved in with the energy source, make R2-D2 use the newly-opened console.
As Anakin and Padmé, climb up the furnace wall that started moving. Use Anakin’s lightsaber to cut through the sparking wall on the left. Completely destroy the structure behind the wall and rebuild it into a console for Padmé.
Run down the newly-opened path and take out enemies along the way. At the end of the path, take the zipline on the right.
Destroy the structures in front of the big door (where you landed off the zipline) and rebuild them into two levers for Padmé and Anakin. Jump on the lever while playing as one of them; the other will follow.
[Ed. note: During one of our playthroughs, the structures in front of the door didn’t break correctly for us, not allowing us to rebuild it into the required levers to clear the level. We ended up having to restart the level to solve this, but we couldn’t find a fix for this bug other than restarting the level completely.]
As the exit is in sight, Padmé will get scooped up by raiders. As R2-D2, follow the quest markers quickly to grapple on to a post and activate the console.
Padmé will drop, but the gang will get captured by Jango Fett, marking the end of the level.
After jumping on conveyor belt, jump on to the hydraulic press right before the second belt. As the press rises, climb up the blue glowing stud grips to take a secret zip line to complete this challenge.
Use Jedi Mind Tricks on a Geonosian to turn them against each other. (You’ll need to use a Jedi character like Anakin to do this.) The best place to do this is after Padmé uses her respective console and many enemies spawn. Eligible enemies for mind control will have the blue fog around their heads.
To complete this challenge, save Padmé within 30 seconds. You can do this easily by quickly switching to R2-D2 when she gets taken, as R2 can run by enemies without having to fight them.
