Sushi chain operator Zensho eyes capital's middle class for expanding across China
BEIJING — Japan’s leading restaurant operator, Zensho Holdings, opened its first Hama Sushi in Beijing on Wednesday. The company and its rivals hope to expand business in China by meeting demand from the capital’s large middle class, who are highly interested in Japanese food.
The conveyor-belt eatery is located in Solana, a large shopping mall in Beijing.
