Marubeni Corporation (hereinafter, “Marubeni”) is pleased to announce the merger of Belterra Corporation (hereinafter, “Belterra”) in Canada and All-State Belting, LLC. (hereinafter, “ASB”) in the United States, under the new brand name “Viacore,” with the official launch of Viacore set for July 10, 2023.
ASB and Belterra are wholly owned (100%) Marubeni subsidiaries and highly-respected leaders in the materials handling industry in each country. The two companies specialize in conveyor belts, conveyor components, and many other products and services serving all industries involving conveyance of products. Following the merger, Viacore will become an industry-leading operator with 31 strategic locations, serving clients across North America.
Prior to the merger, both Belterra and ASB conducted extensive research to ensure this would guarantee improved service for their customers. Viacore brings the same great people, products, and services that their client base has come to rely on.
Thorough this merger, Marubeni will improve the competitiveness and strength of its conveyor belt business in North America while simultaneously seeking opportunities to expanding this business in other areas.
The name Viacore was created by bringing together two ideas: via and core.
Conveying systems are core to our customers’ operations and Viacore will be a critical partner to ensure their systems are running efficiently and reliably. The new logo for Viacore features colors, fonts, and shapes that symbolize everything Viacore stands for: growth, success, positive change, movement, reliability, collaboration, and more.
