Employees evacuated after fire breaks out in Perth factory – Sky News Australia

Thousands of residents in Perth’s south have been told to remain indoors and turn the air conditioning off after a fire broke out at a fertiliser facility yesterday.
It took a matter of moments for the fire, which started on the conveyor belt, to engulf the building.
A dozen employees were told to evacuate the factory immediately as plumes of thick black smoke billowed from the site of Canadian fertiliser giant Nutrien Ag Solutions.
The blaze started in a conveyor belt carrying highly flammable sulfur from a ship to a storage facility.
Residents in the city of Kwinana and surrounding areas have been told to stay inside, close their doors and windows and turn their air conditioners off.
