The touchscreen at your table puts you in control, from learning about your food to ordering items not on the conveyor belt. It’s a cheat code for instant gratification.
Each table is positioned with easy access to the mesmerizing conveyor belts that deliver a continuous stream of sushi, nigiri, cucumber salad, and so much more, each nestled on small plates under a clear plastic cloche. Solo diners get front-row seats directly facing the conveyor belt, ensuring no one misses out on the parade of flavors. 
When a dish catches your eye, all you have to do is reach out and grab the plate from the belt. The cloche, designed to pop open when you lift the plate from the conveyor, takes a little getting used to, but by your second or third plate, you’ll have the hang of it. No sushi traffic jams here—just smooth sailing.

Craving something that you haven’t seen on the conveyor? Tap the touchscreen menu at your booth for hot dishes like french fries or ramen, which arrive via the express belt. This digital menu also lets you order desserts that aren’t on the bottom conveyor belt. 
Dining here is also an interactive game. Slotting a finished plate into the table’s disposal chute unlocks entertainment, turning your meal into a playful quest. It’s perfect for shaking up date night or family dinners, or having just having a blast with friends. I went with my bestie for a Galentine’s Day celebration and we had such a good time.

We had no leftovers and left feeling perfectly stuffed without having to feel bad about wasting anything. It was honestly the best thing ever and I kind of feel like every restaurant should be served conveyor belt-style. 
I’m not an expert, but I get the feeling that Kura is going to end up sticking around Columbus for a very long time. It’s a place that proves food can be fun, sustainable, and utterly delicious all at once.
