Ok, who would’ve thought we’d find something here? Dear god this play always gives me the creeps. Start by moving right into the next area where we’ll find a couple tar enemies. Kill them and use the Cog Shooter we just got to shoot at the switch on the right side across the gap.
Past this we’ll have some conveyor belts moving forward, with tar enemies. Kill them and proceed to the next area. Here you’ll need to shoot your Cog Shooter (Floater Bomb also works, but it’s harder) off the moving platform on the right to hit the upper left switch and open the path.
After that you’ll need to walk over a conveyor belot while timing yourself because there’ll be bombs being shot at you from the bottom. AFterwards, a Plug Bug. That’s it. Move to the next room now.
In this next room place a bomb on the conveyor belt to hit the switch. After that we have a couple of tar enemies alongside a Plug Bug. Kill them and here you’ll see some conveyor belts down below. Before you follow them you’ll see to shoot your Cog Shooter in the upper path to hit the button, then quickly follow the lower path using the conveyor belts to quickly pass over the gate.
In the next room we’ll have less “puzzles” and more combat. You’ll be fighting several tar enemies, and all kinds, the small, the bigger ones, the flying ones. In the next room, however, you’ll find one of those Goliath Tar enemies. These guys jump on you and capture Sam, which can be quite annoying. They can also spit out tiny tar enemies so be very careful and use your guns if you need.
Continue killing tar enemies as you make your way right and you’ll find a golden chest on the bottom. It looks kind of sketchy being here out in the open, but it’s legit and it has a Heart Orb.
In the next room we’ll have tons of crates and small enemies. Kill them and after that leave Sam near the entrance because up ahead we’ll have a little “boss”. We are to fight a pair of Goliath Tar enemies. Sounds easy, but they love to capture Sam and take damage over time. Without Sam here, this fight is quite simple. Your Cog Shooter is great to deal tons of damage, so is your flamethrower. Do remember that the enemies drop little tar enemies when you hit them so try to kill them ASAP.
AFter the fight we’ll have a little scene. Damn that Solomon! I don’t like him at all! When you regain control, leave the room and outside is a vending machine. Purchase anything you need (make sure to restock your ammo and bombs. Head right into the next room, whcih is Solomon’s room. Use the stove and fridge here and when ready proceed right to trigger a scene and a boss fight!
Ok, so we fighting the Panzer of Power, a monkey train. This boss sucks. It’s a very annoying boss fight.
First of all, note that there are 3 train tracks on the floor. The whole shtick of the boss is to move left or right out of the screen, then come back in on one of the 3 train tracks. He comes in random so stay on your toes. You’re going to want stay on your toes and prepare to dodge whenever possible. You can kind of tell where he’s coming because you can see the light coming.
Knowing this, when you run out of the way you can quickly turn around and shoot at the train. You want to shoot at the front of the train, and I recommend you use the Cog Shooter as the cog sticks to the train and damages it over and over.
After charging a couple of times, he stops and starts shooting bombs at you that explode after a couple of seconds. These are still easy to dodge. During this time I recommend you bring out your regular gun and empty as much ammo in him as you can.
This cycle will repeat and once you do enough damage, Solomon will pop out of the front, giving you a chance to deal tons of damage to him. Use this time to really hurt him.
Afterwards, the fight will continue but he’ll have a couple of new attacks: as he charges around he’ll now have little monkeys on the back. They throw explosive bananas that you’ll need to dodge AND after a couple of charges the train stops and the monkeys come out. Now you have to deal with these guys while avoiding the train. For this part I recommend you put away the Cog Shooter and rely only on your gun because you’ll hit those monkeys and prevent you from damaging the train.
A very good strat here is to look where the train is coming from and place a bomb. The train will run over it and take damage. This is great to save you some ammo. Once the fight is almost over, the train will now start leaving a trail of fire, preventing you from crossing to the other side for a couple of seconds.
Watch all the scenes after the fight and we’ll be back. The producer will tell us to go talk to the “young master” and that he’s watching TV with the others. Go left now and you’ll see Solomon in a jail outfit. What are these people?
Anyway, when you regain control make your way back to Solomon’s room all the way to the right. You’ll find Daniel here. Talk to him and you’ll trigger a scene with William. Here we’ll get a controller and we’ll be back in Solomon’s room. Somehow we’ll be in a “contest” where the machine will ask us some questions. You can answer anything here since no matter what you pick you’ll get what you need, but if you want the answers they’re below:
Watch the scene afterwards and we’ll get our rocket. Finally! It also seems to be Izzy’s rocket! Now watch a whole bunch of cutscenes and the chapter will come to an end! See you inthe next page.
